This is a minor bug-fix release from 0.18.0 and includes a large number of bug fixes along several new features, enhancements, and performance improvements. We recommend that all users upgrade to this version.
This was a release of 6 weeks with 210 commits by 60 authors encompassing 142 issues and 164 pull-requests. What is it: pandas is a Python package providing fast, flexible, and expressive data structures designed to make working with “relational” or “labeled” data both easy and intuitive. It aims to be the fundamental high-level building block for doing practical, real world data analysis in Python.
